Children of the moon are essentially werewolves. While Jacob and the Quileute tribe are shifters who have the choice of when the shift werewolves are forced to turn only when a full moon is present and are unable to phase at any other time of the month. When in the wolf form they live on instincts and will kill a human on site as well as any other creature that they spy. The roles will play a prominent part of the sites main plot. One can only become a child of the moon if biting during the full moon by one, infecting you with the curse. Because of their shared food source as vampires they are natural enemies. Unlike Shifters werewolves chose to either live a life in solitude or with one companion of the opposite gender.
While older werewolves have grown accustomed to how they are treated by vampires the younger generation no longer want to live in the shadows, no longer want to fear what they are. It is why they are making this stand. *The history of a character will be decided by you. No other Children of the moon may be applied for, if you wish to become one you must first rp as a human and be bitten.
